Do you fund projects outside of your three focus areas?

No, we limit our funding to projects that fit into one of those areas.   Please make sure your project fits our interests.

How far in advance do you need the proposal for it to be reviewed at a meeting?

We need the full proposal one month prior to the meeting.

When can we expect to hear from you regarding our application?

Once you have submitted a proposal, you may hear from us via email with questions about your project. If your project does not fit within our funding areas, you will receive a letter informing you of this. Otherwise, the proposal will be reviewed at the next meeting and you will receive notification of acceptance/rejection within two weeks after the meeting.

It is of utmost importance that an email address of the contact person is included with your application.   If no email address is included, your proposal will not be reviewed.

Can we schedule a conference call before submitting a proposal?

Yes, once you have submitted a letter of intent with information about your organization and project a call may be scheduled at the discretion of the officers of the Foundation.   We also may schedule a site visit after a proposal has been submitted.

Do you fund organizations outside of Asheville?
